Robert Silverberg is a writer. His work has
covered so many subjects it would be hard to pin
him down to one genre, but he is probably best
known as a science fiction / fantasy writer. He is
also probably best known for his Majipoor novels,
starting with Lord Valentine's Castle. Robert has
also edited more books than most have written. He
has served as the President of the Science Fiction
Writers of America. His is a long and illustrious
career, and one that deserves to be celebrated. You
